The only good thing about summer starting to wrap up are the Sunflowers — close to Victoria, there's a golden patch you have to see ASAP.

The Saanichton Corn Maze & Sunflower Walk is less than 30 minutes from Victoria between the city and Swartz Bay — it makes a great addition to any Island road trip since it's so close to the ferries.

There are plenty of sunflower festivals and mazes on the mainland, but this one is perfect since it's so close to B.C.'s capital.
