Ontario's weather will feature a little bit of everything, including thunderstorms, sunshine, chilly temperatures and even snow!

The long-range forecast from the Old Farmer's Almanac includes a monthly forecast for each province and even a weekly breakdown of what the weather will be like.

So, here's what you need to know about Ontario's weather in October.

The average temperature across the province is expected to be 9 C during October, which is a degree below average for the month.

Also, 65 millimetres of precipitation are expected throughout the month. That's 10 millimetres below average.

From October 1 to October 3, it will be sunny but chilly in the southern parts of the province.

There will be a few showers and chilly temperatures in Ontario between October 4 and October 10.

It will be sunny in the northwest and rainy in the southeast from October 11 to October 15.

But it will be warm across Ontario during those few days.

Then, between October 16 and October 20, a few thunderstorms and warm temperatures are in the forecast.

From October 21 to October 31, there will be sunshine, and then "a little rain and snow."

Temperatures will shift from warm to chilly during the last week of the month in Ontario.

If you're looking ahead to November already, here's an overview from the fall forecasts about what to expect throughout the month.

The Weather Network said there is the potential for "a more abrupt transition into early winter" across Ontario in November.

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, you should expect rain and snow showers, shifts between mild and cold temperatures, and a snowstorm.
