So, if you're wondering when Canada's weather will shift from sunny and warm to snowy and cold, here's what you need to know.

The long-range forecast from the Old Farmer's Almanac includes not just monthly breakdowns but also weekly breakdowns.

That means you can find out exactly when it will be warm, rainy, snowy, and cold during autumn.

Let's get into the monthly fall forecast for all of the provinces!

BC

Here's the month-by-month fall forecast for B.C.

September

From September 1 to 7, there will be sunshine, then isolated showers and cool temperatures in B.C.

Those conditions are also expected between September 8 and 17.

Then, from September 18 to 21, it will be sunny and mild.

A few showers are expected between September 22 and 30 before it gets "very warm."

October

B.C.'s weather will feature sun, a few showers and warm temperatures from October 1 to 7.

Then, there will be isolated showers in the north and sunny conditions in the south between October 8 and 13. Cool temperatures will become warm.

From October 14 to 22, isolated showers and cool temperatures are expected.

Rainy periods and warm temperatures are expected between October 23 and 31 in B.C.

November

From November 1 to 4, it will be rainy and cool in B.C..

Sunny but chilly weather conditions are expected between November 5 and 7.

Then, between November 8 and 15, there will be a few showers in the north and rainy periods in the south.

Rainy periods on the coast and a few showers inland are in the forecast from November 16 to 25. Temperatures will be chilly.

From November 26 to 30, snowy periods and "very cold" temperatures are expected in B.C.

Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba

Here's the month-by-month fall forecast for Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

September

Between September 1 and 9, isolated showers and cool temperatures are expected.

Then, it will be rainy with thunderstorms and isolated showers, but warm from September 10 to 18.

It's forecast to be sunny and "very warm" in the Prairies between September 19 and 30.

October

It will be sunny, a bit drizzly and "very warm" from October 1 to 6.

Scattered rain and warm temperatures are forecast in the Prairies between October 7 and 10.

From October 11 to 20, there will be sun then flurries in the west and drizzle in the east as temperatures turn chilly.

But then, it will be sunny and warm from October 21 to 31.

November

From November 1 to 5, a few showers and mild temperatures are forecast in the Prairies.

It will be sunny and warm from November 6 to 12. Then, flurries and colder temperatures are expected from November 13 to 16.

Between November 17 and 22, it will be sunny and "quite mild" in the Prairies.

Then, from November 23 to 30, snowy periods are forecast with chilly temperatures in the east and "bitter cold" in the west.

Ontario

Here's the month-by-month fall forecast for Ontario.

September

From September 1 to 5, heavy thunderstorms and mild temperatures are expected in Ontario before it turns sunny.

Thunderstorms in the north and rain in the south are forecast between September 6 to 13 before it turns cool.

It will be rainy and chilly from September 14 to 20, then sunny and chilly from September 21 to 23.

Ontario's weather is expected to be sunny in the north and rainy in the east before turning chilly between September 24 and 30.

October

Sunny but chilly conditions are in the forecast from October 1 to 3. Then, a few showers and chilly temperatures are expected between October 4 and 10.

From October 11 to 15, it will be sunny in the northwest parts of Ontario and rainy in the southeastern parts of the province.

A few thunderstorms and warm temperatures are expected between October 16 and 20.

Then, from October 21 to 31, it will be sunny and warm, followed by rain and snow and chilly temperatures.

November

Between November 1 to 10, periods of rain and snow, then sunny and cold conditions are forecast.

Rain and snow showers are expected with cold temperatures turning mild from November 11 to 24.

A snowstorm is forecast in Ontario between November 25 and 27.

Then, from November 28 to 30, there will be rain and snow showers along with mild temperatures.

Quebec

Here's the month-by-month fall forecast for Quebec.

September

Between September 1 and 8, it will be sunny and then rainy with cool temperatures.

Similar sunny, rainy and chilly conditions are expected from September 9 to 13 and September 14 to 23.

From September 24 to 30, scattered showers are expected along with warm temperatures. But then it will turn chilly.

October

The forecast includes scattered showers, sunny conditions and chilly temperatures from October 1 to 10.

Between October 11 and 13, it will be rainy but warm in Quebec. Sunny, rainy and chilly conditions are expected from October 14 to 21.

It will be sunny, but with a few showers, and cool from October 22 to 31.

November

From November 1 to 9, rain and snow showers are expected in Quebec. It will be warm east and cold in the west.

Sunny and chilly conditions are in the forecast between November 10 and 13.

That's followed by periods of rain and snow before the weather turns sunny and mild from November 14 to 25.

A snowstorm is expected between November 26 to 28. Then, it will be sunny and cold from November 29 to 30.

Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland

Here's the month-by-month fall forecast for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, P.E.I. and Newfoundland.

September

From September 1 to 3, there is a tropical storm threat for the region.

Then, conditions will be sunny but chilly between September 4 and 7. From September 8 to 20, rainy and cool conditions are expected.

It will be sunny, then showery from September 21 to 30 with mild temperatures.

October

It's expected to be rainy, then sunny and chilly from October 1 to 4.

Rain and mild temperatures that turn chilly are in the forecast between October 5 and 12.

Then, from October 13 to 18, showers are expected in the east and sunny conditions in the west. It will be chilly throughout.

Rainy and cool conditions are in the forecast from October 19 to 21. Then, it will be showery in the east and sunny in the west from October 22 to 28.

It will be rainy but with mild temperatures between October 29 and 31.

November

Rain, including some heavy downpours, and cool temperatures are expected from November 1 to 5.

Then, from November 6 to 10, there will be a few showers and cool temperatures.

A snowstorm is expected between November 11 and 13, followed by rain and snow, sunshine, and chilly temperatures.

From November 19 to 27, it will be rainy and mild. But then, between November 28 and 30, chilly conditions and rain and snow are expected.
