A new fall forecast is out early, and there will be a "flurry" of a season all over the country.
Here's what you can expect from Canada's weather — including snow, chilly temperatures and more — during autumn this year.
Recently, the Farmers' Almanac revealed Canada's fall forecast for 2025, and it will be "a season of dramatic weather contrasts across the country."
That includes cool temperatures, rain, early snow, and brief moments of sunshine.
It will be a fair start but a windy end to the season in B.C., and a "pleasantly" cool beginning but a cold, rainy and snowy end in the Prairies.
A cool, dry start but a "very unsettled" and cold end to the season is expected in Ontario, while there will be a dry, cool start but a cold and stormy end in Quebec.
It's forecast to be a cool, dry start to the season with a "turbulent" end in Atlantic Canada.
Overall, autumn is expected to be cooler than average in Canada this year, according to the Farmers' Almanac.
In the Prairies, there will be early cold snaps and wet snow by mid-October.
But in southern Ontario and parts of B.C., the warmest days of the season will be in early October and mid-November.
Ontario's weather forecast for the fall season said heavy showers are thunderstorms are expected throughout October. Also, B.C. is set to get "frequent" rain.
Places in Quebec, B.C., and the Prairies at higher elevations could get wet snow as early as October.
According to the Farmers' Almanac, Thanksgiving weekend will offer a break from unsettled weather in Ontario, Quebec and B.C.
It's expected to be sunny in most parts of those provinces.
But there will be rain or wet snow in the Prairies, and cool temperatures in Atlantic Canada on Thanksgiving weekend.
Then, at the end of October, it will be chilly and wet, according to the Farmers' Almanac fall forecast.
Ontario and the Prairies could get a mix of rain and snow, while B.C. and the Maritime provinces could get rainstorms to end the month.
Widespread snowfall is expected across Ontario, the Prairies, and Atlantic Canada by November.
The Farmers' Almanac also said the 2025 fall season in Canada will feature changing temperatures and bouts of rain, snow, and wind.
