A former Oklahoma resident has unknowingly been on the run from the law for over 20 years now after she forgot to return a VHS copy of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Caron McBride told KOKH Fox 25 News that she learned about the charges when she went to change her driver's license after getting married in Texas, where she was told to call the Cleveland County District Attorney's Office to figure out what was going on.

When she called, she learned that she had been facing "felony embezzlement of rented property" charges since March 2000, when video stores and VHS tapes were still thriving.

The store where she rented the tape, Movie Place, has actually been closed since 2008, so it is highly unlikely that anyone has been missing the VHS tape for the past 13 years.

McBride, who reportedly doesn't even remember renting the tape, is luckily not being punished for the mishap as the Cleveland County District Attorney's Office dissmissed her case on Wednesday.
