One province, in particular, came out on top, with four out of the top five cities located in Quebec alone. This includes Montreal, Rouyn-Noranda, Trois-Rivières and Quebec City.

The only non-Quebec city to be ranked in the top five was Charlottetown in P.E.I. It joined Brandon, Edmonton, St. John's, Vancouver and Calgary in the overall top 10.

Toronto, home of the globally renowned University of Toronto, came in at eleventh on the list.
