Cineplex is giving away free popcorn for the entire weekend at theatres across Canada.

But you don't have to go to a theatre and watch a movie to get this deal!

This year, National Popcorn Day is upgrading to National Popcorn Weekend at Cineplex locations in Canada.

That means you can get a free bag of popcorn for three days straight if you're a Scene+ member.

From January 17 to January 19, 2025, here's how to get the deal:

  • buy a ticket for an in-theatre movie that weekend
  • go to the theatre on the day of the movie and head to concessions
  • scan your Scene+ membership card
Then, you'll get a free small bag of Cineplex popcorn.

This offer is valid for one bag per Scene+ member per day if they have a movie ticket for each day.

So, you can go to a theatre, buy a movie ticket and get a free bag of popcorn on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as long as the movie's showtime is on those days.

If you're not a Scene+ member and don't want to go to a movie theatre this weekend, you can still get the free popcorn deal from Cineplex!

For National Popcorn Weekend, Cineplex is also offering a bonus bag of popcorn with all DoorDash, Skip The Dishes and Uber Eats food orders from January 17 to January 19, 2025.

To get this delivery offer, you need to purchase an item from the Cineplex menu on DoorDash, Skip or Uber Eats.

Then, one small bag of Cineplex popcorn will automatically be added to your order at no additional cost.

There is a limit of one popcorn bag per delivery order.
