The new bottles come after the company set an ambitious goal of creating a world without waste in 2018.
The Atlanta based company said the new recycled bottles will help reduce its use of new plastic by more than 20% across North America.
Reuters reports 13.2 oz recycled material bottles for Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Flavors will be available in California, Florida, and parts of the Northeast later this month.
20 oz recycled material bottles of the same beverages, plus Dasani and Smart Water, will be sold in California, Texas, and New York by this Spring.
Sprite will be releasing a new bottle made from the same materials but with a clear tint instead of the usual green, making it easier to recycle.
The new bottles will come with a label reminding the consumer to recycle them, so each bottle can continue to be reused.
