Canada’s COVID-19 Benefits Are Still Around & There Are 2 Simple Ways To Apply

Eligible Canadians can get up to $500 per week.👇💰

Managing Editor, Canada

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is reminding Canadians that COVID-19 benefits in Canada, like the Canada Recovery Benefit, are still available to those who need them.

In a tweet on May 17, the federal agency explained that there are two simple ways to submit an application for Canada's three COVID-19 recovery benefits.

This includes the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB), the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB) and the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit (CRCB).

Depending on the benefit and an individual's eligibility, claimants can get up to $500 per week in support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To find out more about eligibility and to submit an application, Canadians can log in online via My Account or call the CRA directly.

The Canada Child Benefit also continues to support eligible Canadian families, with up to $1,200 extra available in 2021 for every child under six years old.
