When it comes to food challenges, Georgia might just take the cake. There are plenty of these scattered around The Peach State that you can try to claim bragging rights and sometimes even some free goodies. This new eatery in Savannah just created a spicy ramen challenge and you can be one of the first people to try to conquer it.

YATAI Ramen + Yakitori in Savannah is a newer ramen restaurant in City Market, the perfect location for both tourists and locals alike.  This authentic eatery is best known for its Japanese-style ramen noodles and skewered meats called yakitori.

For those heat-lovers who like to set their mouths on fire with spices, they have the perfect bowl of noodles just for you, but you'll have to sign a waiver and be at least 18 to even attempt eating it.

The Spicy Ramen Challenge is brand new to the restaurant and only one person has tried and conquered it thus far.

If you finish this bowl of hotness, you'll join the ranks of other spicy challengers who managed to stand the heat with your photo on the wall of flame, as well as a voucher for a free bowl of ramen on your next visit.

YATAI told Narcity that they start off the bowl with a spicy Mala base, then add in a super-concentrated pepper extract to crank up that heat level.

Mala is generally made from a blend of Sichuan peppercorns, chili peppers, and various hot spices simmered in oil, though the recipe can vary. If you're not sweating yet, you will be once you get a whiff of this.

This challenge is not for the faint of heart or those with a sensitive stomach.

The waiver explains that you understand this challenge might be risking damage or serious injury to personal property, AKA yourself, including choking, vomiting, or feeling nauseous and dizzy.

You might want to ask for a few glasses of milk before you start this spicy food challenge.
