This enchanting Ontario waterfall is surrounded by stunning views and it's worth lacing up those hiking boots for. The natural wonder is located just 2 hours from Toronto and makes for a magical day trip.
If you're dreaming of chasing a waterfall, you'll want to plan a trip to his destination. The conservation area is home to a towering cascade as well as a Cenotaph memorial and scenic valley. It's a beautiful spot for hikes, picnics and more and allows you to spend some time in nature.
Eugenia Falls Conservation Area is tucked away in the tiny Village of Eugenia and boasts 23 hectares of forests and Niagara Escarpment.
The hiking trail takes you along the picturesque Cuckoo Valley where you can enjoy stunning views of Eugenia Falls, a 30 metre cascade that's the tallest waterfall in the area.
The Main Trail is a 1.7 kilometre hike that leads to a lookout point by the falls. You'll also find a tunnel and picnic shelter where you can stop for a meal during your adventures.
Before heading out, make sure that you're visiting during the hours of operation. Visitors are not permitted at the base of the falls, on top of the falls, or beyond the fence barriers.
