The federal health department has opened the Occupational Health Nurse Inventory, which will be used to fill positions that become available all over the country.

With these Health Canada jobs, the salary is from $81,513 to $92,653 a year.

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you could work in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Moncton, Halifax or St. John's.

Canadian citizens, people living in Canada, and permanent residents living abroad can apply.

If you want to get hired, you need a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in nursing, nursing administration, nursing education or another relevant specialty.

You can also get hired if you have a certificate or diploma in occupational health nursing from a recognized post-secondary institution.

It's required that you be eligible to become a registered nurse in a Canadian province or territory.

You must have one year of experience as a registered nurse in occupational health assessments or disability management services, and experience in two of these occupational health services:

  • Immunizations
  • Tuberculin Skin Tests (TSTs)
  • Occupational Audiometry
  • Occupational Spirometry
