Have you ever wondered how Jagmeet Singh gets ready during the federal election campaign?

Well, he shared a "get ready with me" video that showed off his hair and how he puts on a turban.

Singh recently posted on Instagram about his morning routine on the campaign trail and shared a personal story about his family's struggles.

"The hair is in a position that looks natural yet hot at the same time," Singh said in the video, and then he laughed.

To get ready for the day, Singh put his head down, gathered his hair, and twisted it together.

Then, he lifted his head, used one of his hands to twist the hair around his other hand like you'd make a loop to tie a knot.

He put the end of his hair through that loop a few times and pulled to make sure it was tight.

Singh then grabbed a cloth and wrapped it around the top knot. He put another cloth over his head and tied it at the back.

Then, he wrapped it around his head a few times and tucked it in.

Singh took a red cloth and did the same thing — over his head, tied at the back, wrapped around his head a few times and tucked in — to create his signature turban look.

He did it all with no hair ties, no clips, and no products!

While getting ready to head out on the campaign trail, Singh also talked about his family.

"He's someone that studied on a dirt floor in Punjab and became the head of psychiatry in a Canadian hospital," he said.

"I'm so proud of him. He's so kind. He's so generous."

"But he's also someone that had struggled with addiction, and it meant the same person that I admired so much, I looked up to so much was someone that would sometimes become scary and sometimes dangerous," Singh explained.

"He lost everything. He lost his license, he couldn't practice for a bit. We lost our home."

"My dad had gone for treatment and for support a couple times — many times, actually — and it didn't work," he said.

"Some of his colleagues told him if he continued down the path he was going, that he wouldn't make it, that he would die. And he said, 'No, I want to live.'"

So, Singh and his family tried to find somewhere that would help, but it wasn't so easy.

"We didn't have any money at that time. He didn't have any insurance anymore. He didn't even have his license anymore. So, we scrambled and we found a publicly funded rehab centre that had a bed available that took him in," he said.

"Because of that publicly funded rehab centre, my dad was able to beat his addiction. He's alive today, and he's still practicing as a physician. He's still treating folks and giving people care."

Gurkiran Kaur, his wife, commented on the video with, "😅😅🩷🩷."

"Best hair in politics," someone commented.

"We love a long hair moment and how sacred hair is," another person said.

Singh's "get ready with me" video has more than 34,000 likes and over 660,000 views on Instagram!
