But to spice things up, all you need is a change in scenery, and we know just the spot. You need to find this secret B.C. lookout point with views of enchanting turquoise lakes.

Right in the heart of the stunning Okanagan Valley, is the Oyama Lookout. It is just a quick 50-minute drive from Kelowna or five hours from Vancouver.

Unlike most mountain top vistas, accessing this hidden gem is remarkable easy. You don't need to spend hours hiking uphill.

Instead, your car will do most of the work driving along Oyama Lake Road. After parking off the dirt road, it is only a few steps to the lookout.

The path to the viewing area isn't a real trail, so don't expect signs to lead you. Instead, you'll need to add the location on Google Maps and follow the directions.

In the summer, you'll see beautiful wildflowers blooming next to your feet in purple, orange, and yellow.

Heading carefully toward's the cliff's edge, you'll spot the wooden platform nestled between two old trees.

The platform is a few feet off the ground, so you'll need to climb your way up. But once you are on top, you'll have ample space to stretch out and enjoy the view.

From your cozy perch, you'll enjoy a breathtaking lookout of the small town of Oyama. Directly in front of you will be the glistening turquoise water of Wood Lake and Kalamalka Lake.

From your raised position, you'll get to enjoy a spectacular photo opportunity.

The next time you are looking for a cute date idea, this spot would be perfect. You can grab a blanket and curl up together and watch the sunset over the water.
