McDonald's Canada Might Bring Back An Iconic Item & Here's What Else Deserves A Second Shot

McDonald's Canada teased their followers on Instagram with the potential return of a fan-favourite menu and it has people commenting on what else they should bring back.

On Tuesday, January 23, the Canadian account shared this text message interaction between themselves and the menu item.

"Hey, don’t wannna be dramatic but felt like we were having a good time and then u kinda just fell off the face of the planet. Everything good?" McDonald's said to a contact called "McRibbbb."

“hey heyyy it’s been a decade,” said McRib. “…anything fun happen while i’ve been gone?"

In the comment section, people begged for confirmation that the McRib is coming back to Canada.

"Pls pls pls bring it back," wrote one person.

"ok because u asked so nicely," responded McDonald's.

They did give some conflicting answers, though, so don't get your hopes up as yet!

Elsewhere in the comments, people asked for other nostalgic items to return to the menu.

"Cinnamelts though???" wrote one person, with another commenting, "where’s the text from the cinnamelts?"

"I'd rather a personal pizza text," said another of the menu item that people only aged 30 and older likely remember.

"BRING THE BIG X-TRA BACK," one person said in all caps.

"Oh please God, yesss... Plus the Italian Deli Sandwich, & McLobster, too!" another commented.

Narcity reached out to McDonald's Canada for further details about the potential return of the McRib in Canada but did not hear back by the time of publishing.
