When do NYT Games reset?
A new Wordle, Connections and Strands puzzle goes live every day at midnight in your local time zone.
For the New York Times' crossword suite, including the iconic full daily crossword and the NYT Mini, you can actually play them even earlier (in North America, anyway). These ones are locked to Eastern Time, no matter where you are in the world. The next day's puzzles are typically available by 10 p.m. ET, and the Sunday crossword is released even earlier, at 6 p.m. ET on Saturdays.
Are NYT Games free?
Yep! The daily Wordle, Connections and NYT Strands puzzles are completely free to play on NYT Games app or the Times' website — no New York Times subscription is required.
Other free daily games include the Mini Crossword, Sudoku and Tiles. You can also play the Spelling Bee for free up to the "Solid" ranking.
