Ottawa Police Are Busting Dangerous Drivers & They Issued 140 Tickets In Just 1 Night

Ottawa police are cracking down on dangerous drivers in the city. On Friday night alone, officers issued more than 140 tickets for driving violations. Ouch! 

As part of a new crackdown, called Operation Overwatch and Operation NoiseMaker, officials focused their efforts in the Kanata area.

Included in the whopping 140 tickets was 60 speeding tickets and 21 improper mufflers.

Drivers were also busted for making excessive noise, participating in stunt driving, and having open alcohol and cannabis in the vehicle.

Police confirmed via Twitter that they will “be out all weekend.”
