You'll Feel Like You're On The Set Of 'Outer Banks' At This Seaside Georgia Restaurant

Fresh seafood and great drinks.
Contributor

The popular Netflix original Outer Banks grabbed the attention of viewers for one reason or another. There are many spots throughout the coast of Georgia that mimic the set vibes of the show that can make visitors feel like Kooks and Pogues. This restaurant on Jekyll Island not only looks like a place John B. and his crew would hang out, but it also has the same name as the popular restaurant in the show.

The Wharf on Jekyll Island encompasses what every beachside eatery aspires to be. It has waterfront views where you can watch out of this world sunsets while chowing down on some succulent seafood.

Being right on the water, this spot serves up some pretty fresh seafood options including grilled shrimp, grilled sea scallops, raw oysters, and different types of fish.

There's outdoor open-air seating that's perfect if you want to watch the tide roll in and out while soaking up a sweeping sunset view.

The entire dining room has been renovated and has a brand new look if you prefer to sit inside away from the heat. You can catch a band here on the weekends to enjoy dinner with a show too.

The Wharf also has a late-night bar if you're needing a little nightcap after a long day in the sun at the beach. It has a full list of specialty cocktails, various wines, and draft beers.

Grabbing a frozen cocktail like the Original Pina-Colada or the Frozen Alligator, which consists of melon liquor, ice cream, and pina colada, would be perfect for a summery afternoon delight.

This spot sits on the Jekyll Island Club and reservations are only open to guests staying at the club.

If you're staying off property, you can either walk-up to request a table, sit at the bar or take your food to go and enjoy it on the beach.

If you live in the surrounding areas or in Savannah, this could be an easy day trip and back if you're just looking for some time away from the city.
