Florida Reports Sky-High New COVID-19 Cases Today

Florida continues to report sky-high COVID-19 case totals.

The Sunshine State added 12,343 more coronavirus cases overnight, bringing the state's current tally to 282,435.

COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday 

The overnight totals fall short of the record 15,300 cases the state hit on Sunday, but it's still a number that is worrying folks up and down the state. 

Florida also recorded 45 new deaths, bringing the death toll in the state to 4,277. 

The state's positivity rate now sits at 10.7%
