A Massive Truck Fire Has Completely Shut Down Parts Of The 401 (PHOTOS)

Roads are now closed after a massive truck fire on the 401 took place early Tuesday morning. 

Westbound lanes between Mississauga Rd. to Winston Churchill are closed, and the area is currently being repaved, according to OPP.

The fire happened at around 1 a.m. on Tuesday after the vehicle crashed.

OPP report that there was a significant diesel spill that has eaten into the asphalt, requiring crews to repave all westbound lanes.

Roads are expected to be closed until 10 a.m.
