Long lines continue to form outside COVID-19 testing centres in Toronto on Friday as the number of cases in the province climb.

At the St. Michael's Hospital testing centre this morning, the line stretched far back into the alley off Shuter St., with some people waiting in line for an hour and a half.

Audible frustration could be heard from those approaching the testing center as soon as they saw the wait.

Outside Toronto Western Hospital, the situation was similar to St. Michael's with the queue stretching from Dundas St. to Nassau St.

Some people were prepared for a long wait it seemed, making use of foldable chairs.

The province continues to see high numbers, with over 400 reported cases today.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford's proposal of being able to get tested at pharmacies in the province will hopefully help shorten the lines.
