Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet has been given a suspension alongside DeAndre’ Bembry and the Lakers’ Talen Horton-Tucker for leaving the bench to join an on-court brawl.

The NBA says that the brawl was started by Raptor OG Anunoby grabbing Dennis Schröder's leg and flipping him and has been fined $30,000 for the incident.

VanVleet is currently recovering from a hip injury and will sit his suspension when he has been cleared to play once again.

The Lakers' Montrezl Harrell was also fined $20,000 for "aggressively entering the altercation," says the NBA.

VanVleet doesn't appear to be too bothered by the punishment. On Thursday, he took to Twitter to share a statement on the suspension and captioned it "Lol."
