Parents Who Welcomed Their Baby On The 407 Get An Epic Gift ...

Toronto Associate Editor

It's possible to score a year of free travel on Highway 407, but you'll have to pull off a miracle like Troy and Erika Campbell did to get it.

The Whitby couple was en route to the hospital to welcome their third child on May 10 when Erika went into labour as her husband was driving on the 407.

With the help of a 911 operator and their midwife on the phone, Troy Campbell helped his wife deliver their baby girl, Nova Marie Campbell, right on the side of the highway — they captured the whole experience on video, which has since gone viral on their YouTube channel.

To celebrate the birth, the 407 is gifting the Campbells a year of free travel on the tolled highway, plus a gift certificate for car seats for their kids.

"It's not every day that we're part of story like this, and we're happy to send our congratulations to the Campbells with a gift to help them transport their young family around the GTA as quickly and safely as possible," said 407 ETR President and CEO Javier Tamargo to Muskoka411 News.
