This Mexican Spot Near Toronto Has Glowing Dining Domes & You Can Feast On 'Molten Cheese'

Plus tropical margaritas. 🍹

Lead Writer, Travel

If the thought of melty cheese, crispy churros, and slushy margaritas has you drooling, imagine feasting on all this in a glowing dining dome.

You can do just that at this colourful Mexican restaurant outside of Toronto in Mississauga. El Mariachi Tacos & Churros is the ultimate destination for authentic Mexican fare, and you can enjoy your meal in one of the outdoor domes this winter.

The two structures, which are located on the patio, feature vibrant table cloths and glowing lights, and can seat groups of six to eight people.

You can indulge in all sorts of goodness while staying cozy in one of the heated domes and enjoying the snowy views.

To start, you can order apps like loaded nachos, guacamole and chips, and molten cheese, which comes with either chorizo or mushrooms. For the main course, the selection includes endless flavours of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, chimichangas, and more.

You'll want to save room for dessert, because there's lots of sweetness to indulge in. The churros come in four different flavours — original, Oreo, strawberry-filled, and apple pie-filled, and are served with Dulce de Leche. You can also order choco flan and tres leche cake.

For a true, authentic experience, the margaritas are a must. The restaurant offers flavours like pineapple, grapefruit, and jalapeño, as well as the El Diablo margarita which comes with red wine floating on top.

The domes are open from Fridays to Sundays, and a minimum of six people is required to book.
