It reopens this summer! 🦋

Staff Writer

Are you craving a vacation? Then you'll want to add this butterfly garden to your summer bucket list, as it feels like a trip to Costa Rica.

The Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory is a tropical oasis and one of the biggest glass-enclosed butterfly conservatories in North America.

Visiting the conservatory is truly magical, as 2000 colourful butterflies will flutter all around you.

If you are lucky, one might land on you, allowing you to enjoy an up-close look.

But that isn't all. Within the rainforest-like setting, you can explore the 180 metres of paths to visit the blooming flowers and large waterfall.

The Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory

Price: $17 per person

When: TBA (plans to re-open on July 26)

Address: 2565 Niagara Pkwy., Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Why You Need To Go: This stunning paradise is only a short drive away. It is the perfect rainy day activity as no matter the weather outside, it is always warm here.
