Toronto COVID-19 Outbreaks Include JOEY Restaurant In Sherway Gardens, Schools & More

Over 20 outbreaks have been declared.

As of Thursday, the City is reporting even more Toronto COVID-19 outbreaks. According to its website, there are currently 22 active outbreaks across the 6ix, with most of them being in community and workplace settings.

The popular JOEY Restaurant in Sherway Gardens is just one of the spots that are reporting an active outbreak. Three cases have been reported and an outbreak was declared on September 10.

Other spots such as Toronto Police Services, Ya Ya Foods and Ellis Don have all also reported cases.

Three schools, Alvin Curling PS, Central Montessori School (Maplehurst Campus) and Metamorphosis Greek Orthodox School, have all also been listed on the City's website for outbreaks.

Last week, the Cheesecake Factory in Yorkdale Mall was also dealing with an outbreak. This was resolved on September 13.
