It's going to be a hot mess in parts of the province today thanks to a mixture of scorching daytime temperatures, high humidity, and Toronto thunderstorms.

According to The Weather Network, the GTA is going to be swamped by humidity on Wednesday with temperatures feeling up to 9 degrees hotter than forecasted, creating the ideal environment for some nasty storms.

In fact, the Toronto area could be dealing with localized flooding due to an incoming storm that will bring small hail and torrential rain.

Those in the southwest area of the province, such as Windsor and London, are also facing the chance of severe thunderstorms throughout the day.

Thankfully, things are expected to get way less sticky by the weekend with drier air expected to arrive on Thursday and temperatures dropping to the mid-20s.
