Forget the tents, camping supplies, and even your car. Peace Van Rentals in Seattle rents out vintage and fully equipped Volkswagen Campers for the ultimate road trip just in time for summer. What started as a mechanical repair business turned into a full-service rental company that allows you to plan the most epic journeys around the state.

Nothing says road trip more than a retro VW van, and Peace Van Rentals has four models to choose from.

Options range from the classic "Vanagon" to a modern Mercedes Metris.

They can comfortably sleep up to four people and have kitchen appliances like a two-burner stove as well as a portable one.

The high season for rentals goes at around $2,175.10 for one-week, including fees and taxes. There's also a six-night minimum stay required. Additional nights start from $225, depending on what vehicle you choose.

From October through April, there's only a four-night minimum stay.

Your rental includes 125 miles per day, but any additional miles accrued, you will be charged $0.35 per mile.

For comfort, the vehicles have lots of "bells and whistles" like built-in fridges, heaters for any cold weather, Bluetooth radios, and lots of USB and power throughout.

The modern vans are suggested for longer road-trips. Whether California beaches or Canada's mountains are calling your name, these are perfect for extended getaways.

If you are having a hard time deciding where to go, the rental company can suggest specific itineraries for you.

The PNW is a wonderland, and with so many options to explore, sometimes it's nice to sit back and let someone plan a trip for you.

Be sure to take a look at any offers or deals they are offering at the time of the rental as well and be prepared for the best road trip of your life!
