Fall has officially arrived and with it some of the classic fall weather that Vancouver, and B.C. as a whole, have come to expect.

BC's fall weather forecast is looking rainy and chilly, so you'll want to pull out the umbrella and boots ASAP.

On the first week of fall, the Vancouver weather forecast follows the trend that the long-term forecast for the province is predicted to have for the upcoming months – dreary. The Weather Network is calling for a decent day on Tuesday with a high of 21 degrees and sun, but then the fall weather really sets in. Wednesday through Saturday is facing chillier temperatures and some serious rain, with 20-25mm expected on Wednesday.

The Farmer's Almanac's long-range weather forecast for the province is looking equally discouraging. The first week of October is expected to be "very unsettled" before the following week has light showers.

The third week of the month is predicted to be decent with a few showers. Then towards the end of the month, "showery weather moves in" followed by some stormy conditions. Halloween is also looking stormy too, making for an extra eerie night.

November is a smattering of weather but overall is expected to be wet. Heavy rain and wet snow are being predicted early in the month, with "heavy snow over high terrain" and coastal rain later on.

As usual, fall is a pretty mixed bag when it comes to weather, but it looks like you can count on some rainy days when it comes to the season in B.C.
