BC weather forecast calls for a 'unseasonably chilly' and wet winter but there's good news
Look out, because winter is coming. 👇

The city of Vancouver.
The B.C. winter weather forecast is here, and West Coasters should buckle up for a wet and chilly season. There's good news for some British Columbians though, if they want to head to the mountains for a ski.
Farmers Almanac's long range weather forecast is predicting some extra participation in B.C. for the 2025 winter season, which they say will "hopefully result in lots of snow in the mountains for skiers."
British Columbia might be getting off easy though, because the forecast says that the coldest temperatures will be from the Prairies into the Great Lakes area this winter. While the Maritimes and Quebec are looking at above-average temperatures though, B.C. will still be "unseasonably chilly."
The cold weather mixed with the wetness could mean for a fun ski season though. The mountains might be just the escape you need this winter, so it could be a good time to get that Whistler season's pass if you've been thinking about it.
For the time being though you can still soak up some fall weather, although Farmers Almanac is predicting some unsettled weather for the rest of the season.
According to their forecast, the end of September will feature some chilly winds, and "a shot of sharp colder air."
October should clear a bit before welcoming in some "very unsealed weather" and showers.
