An apple a day keeps the fall cravings at bay. If you’re anything like us, you’re already looking ahead to colourful autumn road trips, cozy lattes, and of course, apple picking. In Ontario, there are so many gorgeous pick-your-own orchards and they’re opening soon so you can get ready for everyone’s favourite season. 

It might still be August, but let’s be honest, the changing of the seasons is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited.

And with so many orchards in the province gearing up to open in August and September, your fall bucket list is about to get a little longer. 

From huge entertainment farms with delicious food and cute farm animals to small family-run orchards that are full of charm, there’s plenty of spots for you to pick from. 

Some of these farms and orchards also have golden sunflower fields, pumpkin patches, tractor rides, and more, so you can spend the whole day soaking in the fun. 

And if you’d rather skip the apple picking and just get straight to the good stuff, a number of these locations also sell fresh baked goods.

Because dessert is the apple of our eye, after all.

Chudleigh's Entertainment Farm

Price: $15 day pass, $35 season pass

Why You Need To Go: Apple picking season has already started at this gorgeous farm but there's so much more than just fruit for you to enjoy. There's live music, good eats, furry friends, and more. Tickets must be purchased online ahead of your visit.
