You Can Explore A Georgia Museum Dedicated Entirely To Big Foot For Only $8

Do you believe?🙈
Contributor

Bigfoot is one of those American folklores that never seems to get old and one that almost everyone knows about. There's been TV series, movies, and many books written about this mystical creature. Whether you believe it or not, you can travel to this museum in North Georgia that is dedicated to Sasquatch and all its glory.

You'll find Expedition: Bigfoot! The Sasquatch Museum situated right in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Almost seems fitting, right? It's easy to imagine this larger than life creature stomping through the trees dotting the mountainside.

Not only is this spot a museum, but it's also a research and reporting center. For those who have any experiences or encounters with Sasquatch, you can call in and share it with the museum.

David Bakara is the mastermind behind this spot and welcomes everyone, whether you're a believer or not, into this 4,000 square foot investigative museum.

He's got artifacts, various displays, movies playing, and eyewitness interviews on monitors throughout so visitors can feast their eyes on what might be out there.

According to the official website, this spot even dons the title of the largest Bigfoot museum in the entire world.

You'll see life-size and interactive exhibits, footprint casts, historical and cultural exhibits, and the world's only Bigfoot research and tech vehicle on display.

The self-guided tour will take anywhere between 45-minutes to an hour to explore. You might even take longer than that if you stop to read, watch, and contemplate each piece you can see as you meander through.

You're also allowed to take photos throughout your journey too. You can show all your friends back home that something larger than life just might be out in the wilderness — though the museum does ask that any recorded videos are kept short as to not give everything inside away.

And if you want to commemorate your visit to this quirky little Georgia spot, don't forget to stop in the gift shop before you leave to get your own souvenir and classic roadside attraction t-shirt.
