Big Brother Canada Just Revealed The Cast For Season 9 & The List Is So Diverse

The ninth season of Big Brother Canada is fast approaching and the show just revealed its full contestant list. We have one word: representation.
The new cast of the hit show will feature 14 contestants hailing from across Canada, from the West Coast to the East, the Prairies to the Atlantic regions.

Arisa Cox, Big Brother Canada's host and now one of its executive producers, has said that representation on the show would be an important leap towards a better society.
"Now is the time to take a giant step forward and see if we can make these shows that we love and we watch more equitable and a better experience for everyone," Cox said in an interview with the Toronto Star.
The first episode will premiere on Wednesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Occupation: police officer
About: Anderson has been in the police force for nearly a decade. She also runs a swimwear brand that promotes body positivity. If that wasn't enough, she's also walked the runway at New York Fashion Week.
Julie Vu
Age: 28
Hometown: Vancouver, BC
Occupation: social media influencer
About: Vu is an influencer who uses her platform to share personal details of her life, including her transition story.
Kiefer Collision
Age: 32
Hometown: Old Massett, B.C.
Occupation: radio host
About: Collision grew up in the northern part of Haida Gwaii. He has a wife, twin daughters and a young son.
Tina Thistle
Age: 42
Hometown: Paradise, NL
Occupation: graphic designer
About: Thistle is a friendly face in her community and says she will literally talk to anyone on the street. She also picked up playing hockey at 40 years old.
Rohan Kapoor

Tera Gillen-Petrozzi

Austin Dookwah
