Here Are The Calgary Stampede's COVID-19 Rules & Proof Of Vax Requirements

There are two ways to get into the famous Nashville North tent.

The Calgary Stampede is officially making a comeback from July 9 to 18, 2021. While Alberta has moved into the third and final stage of its reopening plan, there are still health and safety considerations surrounding large events like the Stampede.

In a recent news release, the Stampede announced how it will be handling admission for the famous party and live music tent, Nashville North. This year, you will need to show proof that you've received at least one COVID-19 vaccine at least two weeks prior or take an onsite COVID-19 rapid test.

While this will be the only part of the 2021 Calgary Stampede experience that requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, there are health and safety protocols throughout the entire event.

For example, there will be sanitizing stations everywhere, monitoring to ensure physical distancing, contactless payments, line management to ensure distancing is possible, restroom capacity limits, and more.

"The health and safety of our community is a top priority for the Calgary Stampede. From the onset of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have worked diligently to collaborate and adapt to this new environment in order to address the increased safety precautions required for live events, shows and exhibits to return," the Stampede's safety page notes.
