Cineplex has a deal that's offering cheap movie tickets and popcorn!
But it's only available for two days, and you have to make purchases a certain way to get the discounted prices.
It was announced that $5 Tuesdays are coming back to Cineplex Canada theatres for a limited time.
On April 22 and April 29, 2025, you can get a general admission movie ticket and a small bag of popcorn for $5 each, plus tax.
This offer also extends to premium Cineplex experiences like UltraAVX or IMAX, but there's an additional surcharge to upgrade your general admission ticket.
You can get the $5 Tuesdays deal if you buy a movie ticket in a Cineplex theatre.
If you buy tickets online, it will cost more.
Here's how the online prices break down:
- $5 with a paid CineClub membership
- $6 for Scene+ members ($5 plus a $1 online booking fee)
- $6.50 for everyone else ($5 plus a $1.50 online booking fee)
Cineplex said that the online booking fee allows for advanced seat reservation and shareable digital tickets. It only applies to the first four tickets purchased in a transaction.
To get the $5 Tuesdays deal on popcorn, you have to order a small popcorn at the concessions counter.
Any toppings will cost you extra.
This pricing isn't available for concession combos, Poptopia items, delivery purchases, or purchases made through Cineplex mobile ordering.

You can get discounted admission prices every Tuesday with Big Deal Tuesdays. Also, Scene+ members save an extra 10% on the Tuesday ticket prices.
