You should be able to get a COVID-19 vaccine in Canada faster than expected according to Justin Trudeau because there's a new deal to get additional doses in May, June and July.

He announced that Canada has signed another agreement with Pfizer that secures 8 million more doses to be delivered on top of what's already been purchased.

Trudeau said that with the new deal, 4 million more doses are expected to arrive in May, another 2 million in June and an additional 2 million in July.

Those combined with the ones from the earlier agreement add up to Canada receiving 8 million doses in May and almost 12 million in June from Pfizer alone.

"More doses arriving sooner means more people getting their vaccines faster," Trudeau said.
