Downtown Disney extends its holiday shopping into California Adventure's Buena Vista Street today, and the whole place is decked out for Christmas.

This is the closest anyone is going to get to Disneyland for the time being, as the park will remain closed into the new year due to COVID restrictions.

This morning, people already started lining up around the block since before sunrise, social distance style, waiting to get into the park.

People have been lined up outside to get into the Downtown Disney extension all morning.

Like, seriously all morning — these fans woke up at 3 a.m. to get there and still had a bunch of people in front of them.

They hit capacity inside before evening opening at 10 a.m.

Once inside, you're greeted with happy waves from employees.

It's looking PRETTY festive in there right now, though, so...worth it?

Disney is pretty good at decorating for Christmas.

There's a reason it's called the "happiest place on earth."

The biggest reason to go is for all of the shopping, and Downtown Disney does not disappoint.

The holiday-themed food isn't too bad, either.
