The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Health Canada have published several notifications about food recalls and warnings for items sold across the country, including some from popular brands that you may have in your fridge, freezer or pantry, like Quaker and Farm Boy.
The latest food recalls in Canada are due to salmonella, potential allergens and bottles that may burst.
If you think you've become sick from consuming a recalled product, the CFIA advises you to contact your healthcare provider. They also suggest checking your home to see if you have the affected items, and if you do, do not "consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products."
