The reasons for the latest food recalls in Canada range from possible salmonella contamination to undeclared products that may cause reactions to those with allergies and sensitivities.

Alumauy brand Sweet Pepper
On January 22, a notification was issued for Alumauy brand Sweet Pepper distributed in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec that were recalled due to undeclared gluten.

On January 19, a food recall warning was issued for Kroes Croquettes brand Frikandellen distributed in Ontario due to undeclared milk.
