An 'Area 51' Haunted House Just Opened In Edmonton & Your Lungs Will Hurt From Screaming

Finally, an on-purpose scare in 2020!
Contributor

Calling all alien lovers in Edmonton.

Beloved Edmonton haunted house "Deadmonton" opened its doors on Friday, September 25, and it's themed around Area 51. There's nothing quite like bizarre conspiracy theories and extraterrestrial objects to get you spooked for Halloween.

$34.95+ Deadmonton 2020

There are two parts included as part of your ticket: the Area 51-themed haunted house and another spooky event called "Dusk: Rise Of The Dead."

According to Deadmonton, Dusk is set to feature eerie activities like "tombs, crypts, and mausoleums" and we're already anticipating some nasty jump scares.

The hours for Area 51 will vary by day, so be sure to call up the venue beforehand to confirm. The house will remain open in the evenings from Thursdays through Sundays.

The "Dusk" event begins at...well, dusk. So there are no fixed hours for that.

The haunted house will be scaring people from September 25 until November 13.

Safely rules including wearing masks during the experences, longer time gaps between groups, and sanitization. Combined groups won't be a thing this year, so you don't have to feel embarrassed about screaming your face off next to strangers.
