Edmonton has been chosen as an official hub city for the NHL playoffs.

Hundreds of NHL players in Edmonton will be setting up shop in two of the city's premium hotels, according to The Score. The players will be staying at the Sutton Place Hotel and the JW Marriot.

Players will land in Edmonton

The top six teams from the west will be staying at the JW Marriot; they include St. Louis Blues, Colorado Avalanche, Vegas Golden Knights, Dallas Stars, Edmonton Oilers, and the Nashville Predators. 

The teams that will be housed at Sutton Place include the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota Wild, Arizona Coyotes, and Chicago Blackhawks. 

Both the hotels are either connected or super close to Rogers' Place, home of the Edmonton Oilers.
