Over A Dozen New COVID-19 Cases Are Linked To An Edmonton Church Outbreak
Edmonton has almost 600 active cases right now.
The Edmonton area has 593 active cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday morning, August 18.
A number of COVID-19 outbreaks in Edmonton have been detected. Among them include the Bible Pentecostal Church, which is reportedly the source of many cases in the city.
Cases linked to Bible Pentecostal Church
Alberta Health Services advises that people who attended the church between July 26 and August 12 should get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible.
They have also been told to monitor for symptoms.
In addition to the church, McDonald's Canada team members in the Edmonton area have also tested positive for the illness, leading the company to shut down one of their locations for a day.
