Jewel of the Creek is a 26-acre preserve open to the public in the city of Cave Creek.

You can explore the trail that's absolutely perfect for a leisurely stroll in nature. Just imagine, you'll get stunning views all without the extra work!

It's open daily from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., so you can pop by in the early morning or before sunset.

There are no entrance fees too, which means you can stock up on snacks and pack yourself a picnic for an inexpensive date under the sun.

This spot also "holds one of the last remaining perennial streams in Maricopa County."

So you're likely to encounter an abundance of wildlife, flora, and fauna.

Don't forget to bring your camera!

At points throughout the trail, you'll have to cross over the creek using wooden footbridges.

It'll feel like you're really in a forest far far away. It's also pet-friendly, so bring your pup along if you need company.

The Carefree Galloway Wash Preserve is nearby if you want to spend an entire day exploring peaceful areas around the city.

There's no better time than now to get out and go on an adventure.
