Trudeau Is Reportedly About To Call A Snap Election For Just Over A Month From Now
The announcement could come within days!

It's being reported that Justin Trudeau will soon be calling a federal election in Canada for 2021 and the country could go to the polls in September.
According to Reuters, sources have said the prime minister is getting ready to call a snap election to get voter approval for the federal government's COVID-19 spending.

Sources told Reuters that Trudeau is set to make an announcement about this on Sunday, August 15. It's also being reported that the snap election would take place on September 20.
A recent survey by Leger from July 2021 found that almost half of Canadians aren't pleased with the work Trudeau has done while serving as prime minister. More than half of the people surveyed said that he did not perform well when it came to improving the financial situation of the middle class in Canada.
In terms of what he did well, 55% of respondents praised his management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As speculation has swirled around a federal election being called in 2021, Canada's NDP posted new job openings at the beginning of August, looking for national organizers with experience working on an NDP campaign.
