Justin Trudeau has spoken out about the recent France attack that took place this week.

The PM weighed in on what he is calling a terrorist attack that took place in the city of Nice, France on October 29.

He took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the violent incident.

"Devastating news from Nice, where a terrorist attack at a church claimed several lives. Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims. We stand in solidarity with the French people against violence and denounce these unjustifiable acts, which have no place in our society," the tweet read.

The violent crime resulted in the death of three people in a church, according to CNN.*

The assailant was reportedly shot by police but is still alive and now in custody.

Trudeau is the latest world leader to condemn this and label it as a terrorist attack.

Nice's mayor, Christian Estrosi, also said "everything points to a terrorist attack."

However, police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the vicious incident.
