18 of the best HomeSense decor finds I discovered this month (so you know what to buy)

Which one is your favourite?

A lamp with a green and white coloured lamp shade, a picture of a drink and it says spicy margarita above it. Right: A large selection of candles in front of a sign that says HomeSense.

HomeSense is one of those stores you walk into never knowing exactly what you'll find, and the search is part of the fun.

Beyond home decor, you'll find everything from kitchen tools and bathroom accessories to rugs and even office furniture. It's genuinely one of those stores where you always leave with more than you planned.

I love going in with a loose idea of what I need and just seeing what else catches my eye. On my most recent trip, I went looking for the best home decor finds, and HomeSense did not disappoint.

From throw pillows to chairs and lamps, here are 18 amazing decor items at HomeSense right now.

Cute lamps

How cute are these lamp designs at HomeSense?

I thought the cocktail-inspired ones were one of the best finds on my whole trip. They're the kind of fun, quirky piece that would look amazing on a side table or bedroom nightstand, and they're bound to spark a conversation every time someone sees them.

Lamps can get expensive, so $30 a piece is a pretty good deal!

Price: $29.99 each

Rolling cabinet

Whether you work from home or just need extra storage, a rolling cabinet is always a useful find. This light pink one caught my eye immediately. The simple design, wooden top and smooth-rolling wheels make it both practical and really pretty.

Fill it with books, office supplies, or anything your heart desires.

It also comes in grey if you're not a fan of the pink.

If you're on the hunt for storage bins that don't look like an eyesore, HomeSense has an entire section worth browsing.

These ones are a great find: simple, neutral and fitted with lids so you can store whatever you need and tuck them neatly out of sight. I love that they're versatile enough to work in any room, from a home office to a bedroom or living room.

A floor lamp is one of those home additions that instantly makes a room feel cozier in the evenings. This one at HomeSense caught my eye because, beyond the light it provides, it's also a stylish piece that adds a decorative element to any living room or bedroom.

I have a very similar one I bought at HomeSense a couple of years ago, so I can personally vouch for how well it holds up.

Cute desk chair

If you work from home or have a makeup vanity, a stylish desk chair can make a real difference to the look and feel of your space.

This pink velvet chair with a shell-like design is one of the most eye-catching finds from my recent trip to the store. It's the kind of piece that's both functional and decorative.

Price: $129.99

Two-tier tray

I spotted this two-tier white-and-gold tray in the bathroom section. I can already picture it styled with perfume bottles and skincare products on a bathroom counter or vanity.

You could also lean into the decorative side by adding a small candle or artificial plant; either way, it's a simple but effective way to make any surface look more put together.

Price: $29.99

Artificial flowers

Real flowers are beautiful, but they never last long enough, which is why I love mixing artificial ones into my home decor.

HomeSense is stocked with artificial flowers in all colours and styles, but this large orchid immediately stood out to me. It's the kind of piece that adds a touch of elegance to any space, whether it's on a dining table, a dresser or a bathroom counter.

Price: $34.99

Accent table

A three-tiered brown and black table at a store.

I instantly fell in love with this three-tier side table because of how unique it is. The sleek, modern design means it works in just about any room: stack books, picture frames, or plants on each tier, and it becomes both a functional and decorative piece.

Machine-washable rugs

Two rugs that say machine washable on them.

Asymina Kantorowicz | Narcity

I don't know about you, but I hate cleaning rugs. The beauty of these ones? They're machine washable, so cleaning them is a breeze. These are especially great if you have pets or toddlers since messes are bound to happen, and the last thing you want to do is rent a rug cleaner every time they do.

Price: $44.99

Linen curtains

A pack of beige linen curtains hanging on a store shelf.

Curtains at HomeSense.

Asymina Kantorowicz | Narcity

I'm big on curtains, and have them in almost every room of my house. Why? Because they instantly add warmth and softness to a space.

They're also a great way to add a pop of colour or keep things neutral, like with these linen curtains from HomeSense. If you need curtain rods to go with them, HomeSense has plenty of those too.

Price: $59.99

Throw pillows

I know some people find throw pillows annoying, but I'm not one of those people.

Throw pillows are one of the easiest and most affordable ways to change a room's look without committing to anything permanent. Swap them out seasonally, add a pop of colour or layer different textures for a more curated look.

HomeSense always has a great selection, including fall-themed pillows if you want to get a jump on fall decor.

Price: $49.99

Faux fur throw blanket

Just like throw pillows, a throw blanket is another affordable way to add a nice texture and warmth to your space.

I love having a blanket draped over my couch; it looks cozy and decorative, and honestly, it gets a lot of use since I'm always getting cold while watching TV in the evenings.

Price: $34.99

Frames

A white picture frame with blue flowers on it. Right: A three-pack of gallery wall white frames.

Picture frames at HomeSense.

Asymina Kantorowicz | Narcity

HomeSense always has picture frames in stock, and the hard part is choosing just one. Whether you like bold designs or minimal frames, there's something for every style.

I also love the larger frames to create gallery walls. That's exactly what I plan on doing with the ones I purchased during my HomeSense trip.

Price: $9.99 for the single frame, $34.99 for the 3-pack of gallery wall frames

Artificial plants

I already mentioned artificial flowers, but HomeSense also has a fantastic selection of larger artificial plants.

If you love the look of plants but struggle to keep them alive, these are the perfect solution. They're large enough to fill a corner of your living room, and they already come in nice pots so there's nothing extra to buy.

At almost $100, it's an investment, but you'll never have to worry about the plant dying.

Price: $99.99 each

Candles

Asymina Kantorowicz | Narcity

I love candles, and it's always a surprise when I manage to leave the store without actually buying one. The selection at HomeSense is incredible. From vanilla to floral and fruity, there are so many scents to choose from. Most of them also come in cute jars, so they definitely count as home decor too.

Price: $19.99

Candle warmer

A white lamp looking item on a store shelf that has a label with a picture of a candle on it and reads glass candle warmer.

Asymina Kantorowicz | Narcity

Speaking of candles, I spotted a great selection of candle warmers near the checkout, and they're worth grabbing while you're there.

These melt scented candle wax to release the fragrance without needing an open flame, which makes them a safer option if you have kids or pets at home. I've been meaning to get one for a while for exactly that reason.

They also double as a stylish decorative piece for any room, making them both practical and pretty.

Price: $29.99

Decorative storage boxes

Asymina Kantorowicz | Narcity

Need somewhere to hide a pile of papers, loose photos or other junk you don't feel like organizing? These decorative boxes are the answer.

They keep the mess out of sight while looking intentional and stylish on any shelf. I have a few of these around my house, and they make a cluttered space look put together.

Artwork

Asymina Kantorowicz | Narcity

Art is one of my favourite ways to decorate a space, especially landscape pieces that remind me of a trip I've been on or a destination I'd love to visit one day.

HomeSense is stocked with so many options across different styles and price points.
