President-Elect Joe Biden Tweets Harsh Reality For Newest COVID Vaccine

We could still have a ways to go until we return to normal

A new COVID-19 vaccine has reportedly produced successful test results, leading President-Elect Joe Biden to Tweet what that means for now.

Just one week after Pfizer announced a 90% successful vaccine, the Bio-Tech company known as Moderna announced another vaccine showing a 95% success rate.

Though these are exciting results, Joe Biden was quick to remind citizens that we could still be months away from public access to the vaccine, meaning things are still not quite ready to return to normal.

Biden also strongly encouraged citizens to keep practicing safety precautions such as mask-wearing and social distancing.

President Donald Trump also quickly took to Twitter with a slightly different approach, saying that histories should not forget to mention his name when talking about the vaccine discovery.

Moderna is now on track to apply for funds in order to get 20 million doses available to the public in the coming weeks, while also planning to have 1-billion available worldwide next year.
