Trudeau's Jazzy Leather Jacket Is Back & He Doesn't Seem To Care That It's August
Heat warnings are in place in parts of Canada right now, Justin!
The jacket is back! Justin Trudeau's leather Liberal jacket has made a comeback and the prime minister doesn't seem to mind that it's August.
Earlier this week, the Liberal leader shared a photo of himself campaigning in Calgary, ahead of the federal election set to take place in September.
In the picture, he can be seen rocking his iconic leather jacket once again. The black, leather coat features the Liberal Party of Canada's logo on the front, a Canadian flag on the arm and the word "CANADA" with a giant maple leaf on the back.
The garment was an iconic feature of the 2019 federal election, as Trudeau was spotted wearing it countless times throughout the election campaign. It's worth noting that the jacket was seen in late-September and October of that year though — not August!
Despite the sunny conditions and even heat warnings in Canada this week, it seems the PM is prepared to power through to wear his special election jacket (even if it is leather!).
