Many Justin Bieber fans were left wondering why the Canadian singer didn't perform with Usher at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show and we now have answers.

Lil Jon, who was one of Usher's surprise guests, shared the reason why Bieber wasn't on stage at the big game in Las Vegas, especially since he was there.

In an interview with TMZ, Lil Jon revealed that they did want Bieber to perform with them during the Super Bowl on February 11. However, it looks like the Canadian musician wasn't into it.

"We had the idea of doing a version of the show with Justin in it," the rapper shared.

"That's a lot of rehearsal, a lot of responsibility, a lot of time and a lot of eyeballs and I don't know if he was ready to do all of that."

Lil Jon said Bieber was still there showing his support for Usher.

"They're really good friends and he definitely was supporting him regardless," the American rapper added.

Bieber not only showed his support for Usher at the game, but he did so online as well after Usher's performance.

"LOVE YOU MY BROTHER. NOONE CAN SING AND DANCE THE WAY YOU DO. LOVE YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY HEART," Bieber wrote in an Instagram post alongside a photo of Usher's Super Bowl performance.

For those who don't know, Bieber and Usher go way back. Usher signed Bieber to his record label with Scooter Braun when Bieber was just starting out in his music career.

While Bieber didn't perform at the Super Bowl, Usher was joined by several surprise guests, including Alicia Keys, H.E.R. and will.i.am.

Lil Jon and Ludacris also joined Usher on stage to perform their 2004 song "Yeah!"
