Aquatica Orlando Is Officially Opening All Week Long Again Starting Next Month

Splashing through the week!
Contributor

Just in time for the scorching Florida summer, Aquatica Orlando will soon be open all week long for your full, uninterrupted splashing pleasure. The popular splash spot has been operating on a modified schedule since reopening earlier in June. But you can now officially mark your calendars for July, when Aquatica Orlando's water park will be open seven days a week once again!

Like many other theme parks and entertainment establishments across Florida, Aquatica closed back in March in an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

It has since reopened as of June 11, with Mondays and Wednesdays being closed to the public. On July 2, you'll be able to splash your way through the whole week again when they resume being open all seven days.

If you want to plan your fun in the sun and water, you’ll have to do so ahead of time by buying a ticket through the park’s new reservation system. The website states that guests with existing tickets, Fun Cards, and Annual Passes will also still need to make a reservation before visiting the park.

While both guests and employees will undergo temperature checks upon arrival, face coverings are not required and are actually prohibited when in the water.

Certain designated areas like the park entrance, food, beverage, and retail areas will still require masks for anyone two years of age and up.

Queue lines for rides, restaurants, and other public spaces have been arranged and set up with signage to promote social distancing, as well as feature increased cleaning methods and hand sanitization stations installed around the park.

The official website also indicates that all employees will undergo COVID-19-specific training that entails the most recent guidance from the CDC and other health advisors.

If you’re stoked to jump back into your favorite water park next month, you can even save more than 40% off by buying their discounted tickets online right now!
